Report Writing for Technical & Commercial Managers

Live Instructor-Led Report Writing for Technical & Commercial Managers

Aims

Writing a report can be a daunting experience; ‘where and how do I start?’, ‘what do I include and where?’, ‘what do I leave out?’ ‘How do I summarise?’

Whilst reports play an important part in the life of many professionals, as a link between writer, colleagues and clients, many professionals lack confidence in their report-writing skills and feel that their credibility suffers because their reports are not a fair reflection of their ability.

The DPSS Report Writing course explores the purpose of reports, how to get started, how to write a report for the reader, what report format to choose and how to introduce and summarise effectively, linking content and message from end to end.

Target Audience

This “Live” instructor-led course is designed for technical and commercial managers who need to be able to write coherent technical and commercial reports that can clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and colleagues.  This could also include engineers, technical managers, commercial and sales managers, procurement & contracting professionals, project managers, and commercial managers.

Participants will be able to collaborate with fellow participants, ask questions, discuss case studies and current commercial challenges and gain practical insights.
