Subsidised “Mini” MBA in Procurement Accredited by CPD Standards Office designed for self funding participants only
Overview
The British CPD Standards Office Accredited “Mini” MBA in Procurement is a low-cost, accredited course designed for organisations that lack the budget or self-funding individuals, enabling them to gain access to quality and accredited training in Procurement. To reduce the cost per person, we will make use of “live” streaming delivery via the Zoom platform. We have increased the maximum number of participants from the usual 12 to 24 and will make use of pre course study period and directed readings. We will ensure that the learning experience is not adversely affected by these large class sizes and that the examination success rate will remain at its current high level.
The content of this course is meant to represent that part of a traditional MBA called an elective subject, which would be part of the MBA programme; this course is not a full MBA programme.
Aims
This course is designed to empower the participant with the skills and knowledge to fully understand commercial procurement principles and techniques in an operational and managerial role. This will ensure optimal outcomes, value for money and service improvements.
It will facilitate participants to work in an agile and collaborative way with key stakeholders, with particular reference to compliance, contract managers, internal customers and providers.

Target Audience
The course is ideal for experienced (and semi-experienced) commercial procurement managers and specialists in the public, private and third sectors who would like to gain substantial procurement knowledge and best practice insights. At this level, it is expected that candidates will have come with varied experiences. Typically, participants will be Buyers, Procurement Specialists, Contracting Officers, Procurement Analysts, Purchasing Managers, Commissioners, Procurement Officers, Directs and Indirect Buyers, Sourcing Managers, Category Managers, Lead Buyers and Procurement Managers. The course is also of value to those who have recently embarked upon a career in procurement.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
